Bringing People Together Through Shared Purpose
Rooted Connections CIC exists to restore the historic Walled Garden at Worden Park and transform it into a thriving community hub that celebrates heritage, nurtures wellbeing, and connects people with nature.
We believe that places matter. This garden, with its unique history, beautiful walls, and incredible potential, deserves to be brought back to life and shared with the whole community.
The Garden Today
A Historic Treasure Waiting to Bloom
The Walled Garden at Worden Park is a Grade II listed site with over 250 years of history. Its unique trapezoidal shape, Victorian glasshouses, and heritage features make it a rare and precious space.
Since the Brothers of Charity moved on, nature has gently reclaimed this special place. With your support, we can restore this hidden treasure into a thriving community space that honours its past while building something meaningful for the future.
